HNC Fine Art show opens through 9 March

Last night, we opened our HE Fine Art show in the Hortensia Gallery.

The exhibition is a curated selection of work that encompasses drawing, illustration, painting, sculpture, installation, and video by students who are currently studying on the HNC, HND Fine Art and HND in Printmaking, Drawing and Illustration courses at the Chelsea Centre for the Creative Industries.

The courses are internationally recognised equivalents of both first and second year degree level, and have an impressive and substantial history.

The HNC Fine Art has over 25 years success with notable Alumni such as

  • Monster Chetwynd
  • Luke Caulfield
  • Jala Wahid
  • Susan Collins
  • Seb Patane
  • Susan Sluglett
  • and many others.

We are very proud of our students and all they have achieved so far.

It’s fantastic that after two years of mainly online exhibitions we are once again able to welcome visitors and friends back to The Hortensia Gallery to fully enjoy viewing the work in all its innovation, detail and individual physical presence.

The exhibition is open on weekdays from 3-9 March between 10am and 5pm

Thanks to the HE Fine Art Team: Greg Rook, Erika Winstone, Jane Eyton, Matt Gee. And to support from Liz Evans, Matias Shortcook, Jack Davy and the exhibitions team, Flora (Art Technician), Nigel Garrigan, Eddie Kavanagh and Site care, and the Morley College Fine Art Department, Chelsea.
